An old map replica I saw was based on source maps from 1300-1500 AD showed several continents volcanoes erupting, from Italy to Yemen. Chasing down the active volcanoes on the map and matching today's conditions is beginning to match. Also massive floods in east Africa are beginning to refill old inland estuaries. Baobab trees are dying, but its the oldest of the species, the 1000 year old trees first.
