When people vote straight republican or Democrat they are not voting for a person but a party. Think about that we don’t have a 2 party system that rules over us we have individual key word individuals who represent us. So how does voting straight ticket by clicking either democrat or republican even legally count. The Democrats or Republicans don’t represent us the candidate does.
