R2/R Ladder DAC Explained

This is the first of two video's, analyzing the behavior of the R/2R ladder DAC (Digital to Analog Converter). Here we are just covering the theory of operation. We will be demonstrating its operation in the next video by using a 8 bit version with an FPGA controlling the digital inputs to the DAC circuit.
