By the year 2000, the intolerable hell-hole that London had become turned me against city life permanently. I got out. 16 years later, in an isolated farmhouse in Pembrokeshire, Wales, I made a live recording of the song that best expresses how I feel about urban existence. Not a hilarious laugh-a-minute ditty, but sincere enough.
