Pastor Andrew Russell preaches on Acts 18:1-17. Paul travelled 145 km west to Corinth. It was on the coast and it had two harbours. Many people travelled there from the east and the west to do business. Corinth was a very important city for trade. There was a rocky hill behind the city. People built a temple for the goddess Aphrodite there. Aphrodite was the goddess of love and sex. A thousand female slaves worked in the temple. It was very difficult for Paul to preach the Gospel in Corinth.
